Appalling online service
One star is still too much for Webbs Garden Centre. I placed an order for a rose plant, online a week ago, which was for a special gift in memory of a bereavement. I paid in full and afterwards there was no notice of a dispatch or delivery date. It was only after I called customer services(nobody to answer my query) and emailed, that I got a response to tell me the item was out of stock & they had no idea of when it would be available. I am appalled with Webbs Garden Centre for taking my payment after advertising the rose was in stock, and then for just keeping me in the dark about where my order was.
The customer service is awful and I’ll never buy from them again. This has caused more upset for me due to the nature of why I ordered the plant in the first place. They should not advertise a product if its unavailable, or take payment either if they cant fulfil their obligations as a seller. AVOID!
Selling items they can’t supply
Ordered items. They took my money and went totally silent until I complained when they admitted they didn’t even have the items in stock. Total fraudsters. Avoid.
Daylight robbery!
At the Cheltenham branch today the Cashier incorrectly over charged me at the till, not scanning the products correctly and taking account of the discounted sale items I was purchasing. I immediately queried this on the receipt as the amount seemed high and the cashier acknowledged the mistake.
Unfortunately he had to ask a colleague to refund me, who then stated he needed my name, address etc to process my refund!? What utter tripe and appalling customer service. I was incorrectly charged, flagged it straight away, but they were unable to give me a refund there and then and I was absolutely not prepared to give my personal details and several minutes of my time for their mistake! I feel robbed.
They got a few pounds extra out of me today, but have lost any repeat purchase.
Avoid. Was far better run by previous owners.
Outstanding service
I very rarely leave a review after purchasing something online but this is the exception.
I have bought from Webbs twice in the last month and the speed, packaging and level of service provided is second to none. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Webbs is now my go to place when I want to buy anything for the garden.

Wasted visit
Telephoned Webb's garden centre withhold two weeks ago to ask if I could use a national garden centre gift voucher, was told as long as it had a bar code on they could put it through the till. I went today,a good journey from haesowen, chose my plants and when I got to the till they wouldn't take it , although it had a barcode they did not tell me there should be a black strip aswell, so I'm back home no plants, a wasted journey when I could have gone ten minutes up the road from where I live and used it. Your staff need to be informed of what type of gift card they take as your customer service told me this has happened before

Most disgusting breakfast ever
Most disgusting breakfast we have ever had complete waste of money at £9.99 at Webbs in Cheltenham. After waiting 25 minutes we thought it must be being cooked fresh, how wrong we were. Fried eggs were cremated, bacon cremated mushroom weren't peeled and were like leather and....cremated, yuk, never again.
We understand now why they made us pay in advance.....if they didn't we wouldn't have paid for this awful, disgusting breakfast.
My advice: Go elsewhere, anywhere.

Amazingly Good Plants - Packed With Total Care
Plants are never the easiest products to send to customers by post. Having ordered masses of plants over the years, I sent Webbs my first order, which arrived today.
The plants, all of which were specimens in 2 litre pots were top quality and in excellent condition. They arrived packed in 2 cartons, each plant carefully wrapped and secured to ensure they travelled and arrived in first class condition.
Well done Webbs - please praise your staff.

We went to Webbs at Wychbold today for coffee and a sandwich. As I am gluten free I was so pleased they catered for me.
Waitress was very helpful to us all. Coffee hot and not too strong. Liked being served at the table.
Visited here recently
Visited here recently. Have to say the place has become extremely expensive.Main gripe is the restaurant service and lack of it.I was surprised to find that you still have to wait to be seated and then it's waitress service. Well we only wanted coffee and cake. We waited 15 mins but nobody came, it was a bit of a Shambles, staff clearing tables nearby and just ignore you. Menu had been scaled down so with this we got up and left.Cant understand why they havnt reverted back to self service now, restrictions have been lifted they need to move on with the times. Also not taking cash in restaurant card only, saw one couple get up and leave as only had cash. How can a restaurant afford to turn down paying customers just because they only have cash!! I won't be returning to the restaurant until it goes back to normal, must say we went onto St Peters Garden Centre where we fared much better there. Come on Webbs Garden Centre, you seem to have lost your way!!

If you go for food on a Sunday don’t go at 11.30 you can have a sandwich or a toastie but not a side of fries !! Why do you give the customer a lunch menu if your not serving a full menu !!!!!

Water feature.
Placed an order on Tuesday for a Flowing jugs water feature, as I live in North Yorkshire I wasn't very hopeful of it being delivered because of the distance. However today is Friday on the same week I am now the proud owner of my item. What a fantastic service at a very competitive price and a very reasonable delivery cost. Thank you so much for your service. I will be placing further orders. Kevin.

No Santa gift
Webb’s at wychbold. Took children to see Santa £50 family ticket , £16 per adult £10 per child. I found that expensive but promised the kids so we went. Got to see Santa had a photo with him and NO gift. The money they are charging they could have stretched to a small gift at least. Suffice to say we will not be going again.

Used to love going to Webbs at Christmas
Always loved going to Webbs at Christmas but it feels like it’s lost it’s way.
The Christmas section is just a load of piled high “stuff” rather than the old grotto feeling.
The food hall is just a mess with no order and cluttered and the worst is some of the staff have become borderline rude. Not all of the some were charming like the checkout guys but when the cleaner dumped her broom in front of the packing area then had a go at me for daring to move it so I could pack it was like “this job would be ok if it wasn’t for the customers” well let’s just say without us customers there wouldn’t be a Webbs. Also it’s got very expensive.
